This past week I have been busy with work and research and a lot more. I also spent a lot of time babysitting. I watched eight boys and one girl for two days and then I took care of my two younger siblings most of Saturday and took them to church by myself. All of this reminded me of how noble motherhood really is. All of this didn't turn me away from being a mother. It actually did the opposite. I can't wait to raise kids of my own. But it also showed me how hard and challenging it is. Challenging but also glorious. I was listening to Steven Curtis Chapman's newest song Do everything on the way to church and it helped me realize that everything we do has a purpose. Even when we don't think it means much, it means everything when we do it to the glory of God.
Do everything you do to the glory of the One who made you Cause He made you to do Every little thing that you do to bring a smile to His face And tell the story of grace With every move that you make And every little thing you do
Even when motherhood looks boring or difficult it means more than we know.
