I absolutely love books. At twelve, other kids my age were reading Harry Potter or Nancy Drew, I was the weirdo reading The Three Musketeers. I rarely had a moment when books weren't in my hands and I have read a vast amount of our 2000+ library collection. I picked up Anna Karenina at sixteen and fell in love with Tolstoy's writings. While most of my peers were being forced to read The Scarlet Letter I was reading it for fun. Books are my kindred spirits and reading is my favorite past time. It was the one way that I could learn about life while also being an extreme introvert.
So, on the topic of amazing literature I thought I would post some of my favorite quotes from some of my favorite antique books. These are just a few of the many books I adore.

Most people may not be able to get a hold of this book. But it is particullarly special to me. My great grandfather and his nine siblings put together this book of childhood stories. It has been passed down through out family and it is a treat to be blessed with this insight into our family's history.
You may find that I will post more about books. I wish more people read them and relished the simple beauty that they offer. Don't pass up a chance to read other classics. Here are just a few...
Animal Farm, Fahrenheit 451, David Copperfield, War&Peace, The man in the Iron Mask, anything by Louisa May Allcott, anything by L.M. Montgomery, Stepping heavenward, anything by John Bunyan, and there is so much more. I wish I could list everything.
